John Horne worked on our renovation in the Summer of 2014, alongside my general contractor. We were gutting an 800 sq ft ranch and turning it into a 2400 sq ft colonial, so needless to say, it was a very large job. During the demolition process, John came across multiple safety and code violations and took the time to explain each one to us and help come up with a plan to get everything in the house safe and up to code. He also did a walk through with us to be sure that he understood what we had planned for the house once the renovation was done. By taking the time to find out what each room would be used for and what type of furniture design we were interested in, he was able to ensure that our outlets, fixtures and cable/phone hookups were all in the area that they would be best utilized. He even took the time to find out what kind of TV's we were planning to buy so that he could be sure that no wires would be hanging and visible. He really went above and beyond to be sure that our basic needs were addressed but also that aesthetically, everything would look appealing. I was extremely impressed in his forward and big picture thinking. Most contractors and subcontractors simply want you to tell them what you want but won't think about what you may not even know is available or feasible... John was extremely patient with us, and took the time to get to know us so he could anticipate solutions that we didn't even know we needed to address. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough and professional Electrician.
